Welcome to the Stranded Tree Farm

Our enterprise started in June, 2011 with a goal of planting native Iowa trees and reforest a small part of our world. Located in Iowa County, Iowa, we’ve planted over 4000 trees in addition to previously planted walnut, pine and oak trees.

We hope this is a place where you can go for information on some of the trees we have at the farm and enjoy some of the wildlife that we encounter there. Our plan is to grow this site along with the seedlings we’ve planted. If we can improve the land and leave it better than it was, that is one of the greatest joys, and responsibilities, that we hold onto.
